BOOK COVER DESIGN FOR "MELANCHOLIA" a pOETRY BOOK

 Melancholia is a collection of poems written by Hussain Boushehri, revolving around three main concepts (Love - Death - Life), with grief as the overall theme that unifies all poems, being 1 of a 3 poetry book series. 

The brief was to design a book cover that would help represent the concepts included in the book and reflect the overall theme properly. 

I had a lot of creative freedom during the design process, the main challenge however was to use the death symbol chosen by the client in all book cover designs. The plan was to distribute the elements represented within the symbol across other graphical elements, which was achieved eventually.
